If you ask to a Brazilian what is a coxinha, he will remember how much miss our food.
In my city, Curitiba, South of Brazil, there are some options safe to celiacs. One of these places is called Dieta e Sabor, it is a small store located in the heart of Curitiba that sells gluten free products and for some others food restrictions. I really like go there, because they have a lot of options, cereals, beers, fresh and dry pasta, and among others products.
What I love more in that store? They have some ready-to-eat products, as the best coxinha in the world. And it is fried! I went to a coxinha festival that they served different flavors of coxinha, salty and sweet. And the classical with chicken and catupiry.
If you visit Curitiba one time, I am sure that you must need to go there.
